So just what it is Nutritional Therapy? Nutritional Therapy is a methodology that focuses on the entire body from a holistic perspective. Optimal health is dependent on the balance of the five foundations of the body: Digestion, Blood Sugar Regulation, Fatty Acid Balance, Mineral Balance & Hydration.
If anyone of these base foundations is not in balance, it will impact the rest of the body. Nutritional Therapy helps the client to balance these foundations starting with the number one priority of digestion as when we have digestive dysfunction it will impact every facet of the human body.
Re-balancing the body is accomplished through diet and lifestyle modifications. Eating a nutrient dense whole food diet is the core of re-balancing the foundations, but it is not just limited to the foods we eat. Our environment also impacts the body's ability to maintain balance as we are subjected to many stressors that factor into our wellness.
Through Nutritional Therapy, we help guide our clients to new diet and lifestyle changes that really make an impact throughout the whole body and in turn re-balance the core foundations.
